Service Update

Greetings Church Family & Friends!

Details for Sunday Services:

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: The current guidelines still allow up to 100 people in each location (Sanctuary and Banquet Hall,) including elders (spouses), musicians, audio, security, etc. We are asking you to register weekly online, so that we can adhere to the state’s guidelines and expectations of gathering together. Registration is open on THE PLANNING CENTER (Church Center App) until 6:00pm the night before. It is mandatory that you register by INDIVIDUAL NAMES (even if you are registering another family member and/or guest), for record keeping (for example: Jane Doe (1), Janie Doe (1), John Doe (1) – please do not put all members in your group under one name ~ for example: John Doe (5) or Doe Family (5).

If you cannot figure out how to sign up, you have no email address, or if you need to cancel your spot, please contact the church office at 973-633-9090 and leave a detailed message. We will be happy to add your name if space is available or remove your name so others can sign up.

When all the spots have been filled for the sanctuary, you will still have the opportunity to sign up for additional room (The Banquet Hall) to gather in to watch the “live stream” together with others in our church family and one of the pastors. The live stream in the banquet hall is a more “family friendly” environment where you can bring your children that might make some noise and move around a little, and not feel like you are distracting others (however, please do not allow them to ‘run around’ and still practice social distancing.)

  • MASKS & SOCIAL DISTANCING: We want to do all that we can to protect everyone that attends and also be sure to show love and concern for each other during the service, therefore, all attendees at our service must wear face covering at all times (whether in the main sanctuary or the banquet hall) except where doing so would inhibit the individual’s health or where the individual is under two years of age. We will also be observing social distancing by asking everyone to remain six feet apart from others at all times, including seating, unless with your immediate family, etc.

  • HEALTH & SAFETY: If you are not healthy or feel uncomfortable about attending, it would be best if you do not attend. You can still join us on YouTube By Clicking Here

If you or anyone in your family have been exposed to the Coronavirus in the last 14 days or if you or someone in your home have a pre-existing medical condition, please do not attend.

FACILITY CHANGES / SANITATION: The following facility changes have been made to protect the congregation before, during, and following service.

CONTACTLESS: We are doing everything we can to make it “contactless”. Therefore, doors will beopened for you, hand sanitizer stations will be available & located throughout the facility, and offering baskets will be available in the front of the church. You may also continue to give online or mail in your offering.

CLEANING: A cleaning team will be on site, as well to sanitize. Disinfecting efforts include after each service: high touch areas, (doors, seats, restrooms, sanctuary, banquet hall, etc.)

CHILDREN’S CHURCH & NURSERY: Children’s church and the nursery will not be open or available, until further notice. If you choose to come to church with your children, they are to remain with you at all times (main sanctuary and/or banquet hall.)

STAY CONNECTED:If you are still looking to get involved while we are apart from each other, please join our Wednesday Night Learning Center (weekly) or Friday Night Connection Group (2nd and 4th Fridays), both virtually. You may contact the church office for The Learning Center, and for Connection Group please email us by clicking here

CHANGES & REQUIREMENTS at CIC due to the CDC GUIDELINES:

Options for services (In-Person and Online)

Enter & Exit through the Chapel Door entrance (not the main entrance). PLEASEfollow the instructions given by the ushers and greeters for your safety and the safety of others. At the conclusion of the service, you will be dismissed by rows by the ushers and greeters.

Please start arriving by 9:15am to check in, temperature checks, and to be seated by the ushers and greeters.

NOTE: If you have not registered & checked in by 10:10am, your seat will be released to walk-ins or anyone who may want to change their locations.

Restrooms: please use in the lower level, (signs will be posted)

Elevators will not be in operation (due to construction in the upper level) –accommodations to watch the service live will be available in the banquet hall.

At this time we will not be opening up the front area “the pit” for worshipping, dancing, prayer, etc. But we encourage you to still lift your hands and worship theLord in your seats.

Again, due to the CDC guidelines and social distancing, we are asking that you DO NOT greet with holy hugs, kisses, handshakes, fist/elbow bumps, holding hands during prayer, (anything that requires physical contact). ~ IT IS OK TO SMILE AND WAVE. Think of some fun ways to greet others in a non-contact way.

NO FOOD, SNACKS OR BEVERAGES in the building (EXCEPT WATER). Please remove all belongings and discard all water bottles upon leaving the service.

We ask that there will be no mingling in the building after service is over. Conversations can be done outside the building, but still practicing social distancing and adhering to the CDC guidelines.

The CIC café will be closed until further notice.

Prayer will still be available on Zoom following the service. You can call in on your phones, tablets, computers, etc. and an elder will be available to pray for you.

CONTACT UPDATES: If you need to update your contact information, please call the church office or email the information by clicking here

We look forward to worshipping with you in person or online this Sunday!
